Angela and Josue had an absolutely gorgeous Fall wedding this past October at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. I love doing weddings “Up North” and Castle Farms is one of the best wedding venues in Northern Michigan. I love it when the venue is so beautiful that everything we need for creative images is all located in one place.
Angela and Josue opted to do a first look in the butterfly garden of Castle Farms. The garden was surrounded by yellow flowers with butterfly chairs adorned in the center with the castle right behind them. It was the perfect place. I love first looks because I get to capture an intimate moment between just the bride and the groom. That and we can take as much time as we want for pictures without worrying about rushing to a reception. As you can see below, we made sure to capture amazing photos at all of the best spots around the castle.
The ceremony was held outside in the Queen’s Courtyard. It did sprinkle a bit, but a silver lining to the rain was a beautiful rainbow that accompanied the sunset as Angela rode up in her horse and carriage– it was just like a fairy tale. The reception was held nearby in the Queen’s Tavern and I just loved the candelabras and the stone walls, it truly made the room look majestic.
Congratulations Angela and Josue, I wish you the best.
